dance & art camps for ages 3.5-6
Our five-day camps incorporate dance, art, literature, games, music, and costumes related to the weekly theme. Children will exercise their bodies and imaginations, create and collaborate with others, and make memories with new friends! All genders are welcome in these camps. No dance experience is required.
Great Ballet Stories Camp: July 7-11 from 9am-12pm with Ms. Erin
Our “Great Ballet Stories” camp will immerse participants in the magical worlds of famous ballets such as Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Time will be split equally between dance and art, with opening and closing circles, and a break for snacks. Music, characters, and stories will come alive through ballet-based movement, imaginative prompts, creative art projects, and simple dress-up and props. The fun-filled week will conclude with a delightful showcase for families. Taught by Erin McEachran. Price includes all materials.
Enchanted Forest Camp: July 14-18 from 9am-12pm with Ms. Erin
Welcome to the enchantment of Fairytale Forest where dancers weave their own movement tale full of dragons, unicorns, dwarves, fairies, elves, and imagined magical creatures! With classic fairytales and vivid artwork as inspiration, we will read, form movement statements to contribute to our dance story, and create art to showcase in a final performance for families at the end of camp. Come dance part of our tale! Taught by Erin McEachran. Price includes all materials.
DANCE AROUND THE WORLD CAMP: July 28-August 1 from 9am-12pm with Ms. Katie
Let’s go around the world in five days of dance! Together we’ll explore exciting places and cultures through dance and art, stopping off in South America, Africa, Asia, Europe, and the islands of the Pacific. Kiddos will move their bodies to different types of music, and create art projects, headpieces, and even their own musical instruments along the way. The adventure will conclude with a mini-performance for families. Pack your bags and get ready for fun! Taught by Katie Hatfield. Price includes all materials.
young dancers’ camps + intensives for ages 7-12
Explore different dance genres and channel extra energy into ballet! Dancers will improve their technique, expand their repertoire, broaden their perspectives, become more confident performers, and make wonderful memories with dance buddies and new friends.
Japanese Dance, Art & CUlTURE CAMP: July 7-11 FROM 2-5PM WITH Ms. Tomoko
This camp is designed to not only share Japanese culture, but celebrate the rich diversity of Bellevue and Washington state! Campers will stay busy with a daily ballet class, followed by Japanese dance, drumming, calligraphy, art projects, language, and/or food, taught and curated by EBT’s own Tomoko Chun. (We also invite dancers with ties to Japan to contribute in their own ways to this special week!) Camp will conclude with an informal dance showcase/sharing time for families. Price includes all materials.
Jazz INTENSIVE: July 14-18 FROM 1:30-4:30PM with Ms. Natalie
Join guest instructor Natalie DuKane for an energizing week of Jazz! Dancers will enjoy dancing to different tempos and upbeat music. Our Jazz intensive also includes a daily ballet class and pre-pointe/pointe strength/tech class. The week will conclude with a mini-performance for families. Get ready to show off your best Jazz walk! Based on enrollment, the group may be divided by age.
Musical Theatre INTENSIVE: July 21-25 FROM 1:30-4:30PM with Ms. NICOLE
Can’t get enough of “Wicked?” Neither can we! Come join guest instructor Nicole Bishop for the most swankified camp of the summer! Performers will get a daily ballet and pre-pointe/pointe strength class on top of a Wicked-themed musical theatre class. They will play all sorts of fun theater games that push their storytelling, musicality, improv and teamwork skills. All of their hard work will conclude with a magical performance at the end of the week! Based on enrollment, the group may be divided by age.
Ballet VariationS INTENSIVE: August 4-8 FROM 1:30-4:30PM with Ms. Erin
During our final intensive for ages 7-12, dancers will have the opportunity to learn ballet variations with Erin McEachran. Along with daily ballet class and pre-pointe/pointe strength/tech class, students will practice classical repertoire.The week will conclude with a mini-performance for families when dancers can wear beautiful tutus. Based on enrollment, the group may be divided by age.
ADC IBC EnsembleS: August 6-27 (Wednesdays only) with Ms. Erin
Dedicated dancers (current 2nd-4th graders) can also compete in an ADC IBC ensemble with EBT in Fall 2025. Rehearsals will take place on August 6, 13, 20 and 27 following class. Please review the information here before registering for these rehearsals.
ballet intensives for ages 12+
For motivated students eager to explore and deepen their relationship to dance. Come prepared to work hard and have fun! Caring, professional faculty and small class sizes will ensure that all dancers get the personalized attention, support and feedback they need to progress this summer.
Session 1: July 7-11 from 9am-1pm
Session 2: July 14-18 from 9am-1pm w/showcase
Session 3: August 4-8 from 9am-1pm
Session 4: August 11-15 from 9am-1pm w/showcase
SCHEDULE:
Each day includes a 1.5-hour technique class and 1-hour pointe class, as well as a variety of enrichment classes such as Spanish-based Character, Modern, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Tango, Variations, Choreography, and Pilates taught by esteemed EBT faculty and guest instructors. While we encourage dancers to sign up for the two-week July and August sessions, single week enrollment is also available.
STUDIO PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES:
At the end of each two-week session, there will be a mini-showcase at the studio. Dancers will be fitted for costumes, take photos, and showcase their technical and artistic growth to families and friends.
SUPPLEMENTAL PRIVATE INSTRUCTION:
For those interested in additional training, private lessons can also be arranged (subject to studio and instructor availability). Priority will be given to dancers enrolled in our summer programs. Please fill out an interest form here.

These daily classes for intermediate and advanced dancers are taught by EBT and guest instructors, and include 30 minutes of pre-pointe or pointe (for experienced dancers only). Our open classes are an excellent way to maintain fitness levels and sample our studio. Please reserve your spot in advance via EBT’s Family Portal.

Teaching Methods for Young Children: June 26-27 from 12-2pm WITH MS. ANNIE for ages 13 - adult
Annie Hughes
Join Dance Educator Annie Hughes (Creative Dance Center) for an educational and motivating Teaching Institute special workshop. Participants will learn best practices for teaching dance to young children, lesson planning and flow, class management skills, and age level appropriate movement learning targets. Attendees will observe a sample class and have opportunities to practice their new skills by teaching portions of a sample class with instructor feedback. Teaching Methods is open to community teens 13+ and adults. This is a required workshop for EBT teens with Summer or Fall 2025 internships.
Contemporary ballet: June 30-July 3 from 12-2pm with Ms. Kennedy for ages 12+
Kennedy Polovich
Come explore contemporary ballet with guest instructor Kennedy Polovich! Contemporary ballet blends classical ballet with somatics and contemporary forms. Participants will have a brief dialogue/learn history of contemporary ballet, and watch clips of Forsythe/Pite, NDT, Ballet Gothenburg. Class is framed in the same way as a typical ballet class but flips the typical combinations on their heads! Students are welcome to wear whatever feels comfortable.
ADC IBC EnsembleS: August 18-22 from 12-2pm with Ms. Erin for ages 11+
We’re excited to share a new opportunity for our students to grow and build camaraderie with other dancers! EBT will be participating in ADC|IBC in Fall 2025. Please review the information here before registering for this workshop.
Ballet Conditioning/Wellness: August 25-29 from 12-2pm with Ms. Kennedy & Ms. Angela for ages 12+
Jumpstart your training and set yourself up for success in the new school year. A dancer’s mental health is just as important as one’s physical health! In addition to pilates and conditioning classes, workshops this week will discuss nutrition, sleep, mindfulness, goal setting, maintenance, and consistency. Classes will be taught by EBT and guest instructors Kennedy Polovich and Angela Robinson.

Expand your skillset and gain valuable hands-on experience. Dancers 13+ are invited to apply for a summer Teaching Institute internship or helper position.
