KATIE HATFIELD
DANCE WITH ME & COMMUNITY CLASSES

Growing up, Katie Hatfield spent a lot of time in the dance and theatre world, so she is always grateful for an opportunity to flex her creative muscles. She began performing in Emerald Ballet Theatre’s production of The Nutcracker as a Party Mom in 2012. The following three years, she performed the role of Clara’s mom, Frau Stahlbaum, in The Nutcracker.

Ms. Katie has taught Creative Movement and PreBallet classes, as well as dance and art camp, for EBT’s community partners. In addition to teaching, she is also EBT’s Registrar and a core member of our operations team. Ms. Katie was EBT’s Costume Manager from 2015-2023, and looks forward to being involved with costumes again, as time allows.

Her hobbies include spending time with her husband and four kids, hiking, beach exploring, jazz music, speaking Danish, and dancing!
